Ivory Night - Machine

Ivory Night - Machine

\r\nIvory Night is the band of Patrick Fuchs and Carsten Kettering, who is also members of the band of Ross the Boss, which we had the honour to see live in our country before 2 years. “Machine” is their new album and if we compare it to their previous, named “Dawn of the Night”, is without doubt better and more mature. However, like a Heavy Metal album as all the others which are released nowadays, is nothing important but an enjoyable album. There is no reason of enthusiasm or something like that. Their music is melodic, reaching progressive sound. The Heavy Metal elements dominate and in general, the whole style refers to something classic. One can say that the basic influences of the band are Iron maiden and Judas Priest, while Morgana Lefay came often to my mind. The song which I marked from the beginning was the nice and meticulous ballad “Oblivia”, while from this song till the end all the songs seemed also worthy, without one make me shiver. If we take into account that this album is entirely financed from the members of the band, then the production is in high level, while Patrick’s vocals hide a beautiful theatricality, which emphasizes the songs of the album. Concisely, “Machine” is a Heavy Metal album, which was created from musicians who know this style at the best way. The album can be heard easily, but it doesn’t consist of songs, which will make the difference and establish Ivory Night in the hard sound. However, it deserves our support.\r\n
