Misery Index - Pulling Out The Nails

\r\nThis collection is not your typical label move that just has to release a best of because the contract says so. This is the total of unreleased, bonus, b-sides, split and EP’s songs the dearest Misery Index have released during the lifespan of their musical career. And believe me, there are many of those.

\r\n I, personally, possess their entire dicography(even the splits, EP’s, etc) so these songs are no new to my ears. There has been massive depand, I guess, from the majority of the fans since some of the releases mentioned are rare and hard to find. Given the chance, 21 songs are put together in a special package and save the fan from the trouble of digging in record store basements. Of course you realize that the tracks come from every period of the band’s past so the variety part is guaranteed. Ultra fast but also groovy death/grind with elements of crust in short or 2-3 minutes duration. There is really no reason to analyze the music contained in here since this material has been hears before more or less. What does matter is that you’re given the opportunity to gain access to hard-to-find stuff, after all these years. Plain and simple.
