\r\nFrench band - Mistaken Element - were formed back in 1998 by the name - Scarr - .Soon they changed their name into -MIstaken Element- and after many years with no official releases they recorded their debute album - Engraved in Memory - in 2006 .Now , after three years they are back with their second work and they are showing their teeth with great production and fresh ideas. \r\n \r\n
\r\nTheir new album -Mind over Matter- is a fine sample of modern Thrash Metal with a lot of Hardcore influences , heavy production and a really great voice. The guitars are full of heavy thrash riffs , nice melodic bridges and great leads.The bass and drums are also perfect in fast themes or slow atmospairic moments and the voice is absolute great, with mr.Ligner shouting his heart out and giving extra points to the band.The production is great and it has a dark and atmospairic taste and the cover of the album is a great artwork that shows a human holding hid exploded head!! \r\n \r\n \r\n-Mistaken Element - recorded great songs in their new album.They are mixing Thrash , Hardcore with many atmospairic passages and a very skillful vocalist that really sings.They have many parts that you wanna bang your head till death and many other great moments that you can travel through their atmospairic ideas.It is difficult to understand that they are French because they full support this american Thrash/Hardcore style and they can remind you bands such as: Machine Head , Skinlab but also old classic like Testament and Merauder.A great release that will be loved by many types of music fans. \r\n \r\n
