Media Solution - Horizon Of Events

\r\n  These lads come from Italy and even though I\r\ncouldn’t find much information about them, I can certainly say that “Horizon Of\r\nEvents” is not their first release.\r\n

\r\n

\r\n  Media Solution belong in the Metalcore scene\r\nand their music style brings in mind bands such as The Haunted and Soilwork,\r\nwithout having much in common with the Swedish scene in general.  The crossover elements are included in such a\r\nway that the result is really pleasant to listen to.  Hardcore drumming, various guitar playing\r\nstyles –sometimes heavy and sometimes eerie melodic- and tasteful passionate vocals\r\nin angry moods!  They seem to be\r\ninfluenced by the American sound, having achieved a great sound\r\nproduction.  And just when you think that\r\nyou’ve figured them out, there goes “My Soul Still Burns” in stoner forms to\r\nmake it nearly impossible to label them. \r\nThese details don’t matter, since the final result is tight and\r\nbalanced.\r\n

\r\n  It might not be a monument of an album but\r\nwith songs such as “It’s Your Life”, “When Animals Attack”, “Two Million Lies”,\r\n“44 mm” and “Blasphemy”, it’s a remarkable release.  If you need something feisty, aggressive,\r\nwith crossover elements and if you are tired of pointlessly waiting for The\r\nHaunted to release a decent album, then give the Italians a chance.  They put up a good fight!\r\n
