\r\nThe web portal metalzone.gr, Metalzone’s  internet radio and Metalzone radio show  is broadcasted weekly on FM radio for the past 14 years in Athens 9 hours a week (Monday-Wednesday- Friday 21:00 – 00:00 CET) would like to inform the artists and the bands of the metal scene the following:\r\n

\r\nWhoever is offended by taking under account their offence rather than the promotion we choose to offer freely by broadcasting their songs on our radio show which reaches a range of 5.000.000 inhabitants of Athens will automatically be excluded from the playlists of our radio show. As a media we serve the sole purpose of promoting heavy metal music to the biggest audience possible. Therefore the bands offended will be automatically excluded from being broadcasted by the radio show.   \r\n

\r\nSince we work under the aim of spreading Heavy Metal music we won’t accept any interference or restriction that doesn’t serve the music whatsoever but on the contrary creates banishments that undermine its popularity.  Artists must realize that this whole copyrights story will end up against them in the long run.

\r\nImagine a musician that would have to pay copyrights to the person who invented electricity, the person who created the first amplifier, the one who first designed electric guitars, the one who created the first drum kit, the one who invented the pentagram…. All those mentioned above also have copyrights to their work don’t they? Or do musicians create music without using their fully copyrighted inventions?

\r\nDon’t I have copyrights as a music producer for the compilation of the songs that created the playlist of the radio show which promotes the bands for free?
\r\nI hope that my message is clear towards every recipient and is in a nutshell the following. Whoever misunderstands promotions for violation will be backlisted automatically in Metalzone.
