MOONSPELL - Fernando Ribeiro

Given the chance by a DJ set Fernando Ribeiro did in Athens on Ferbuary 26th Vasilis Mazaris and Hellena Mihailidou did an interview with Moonspell’s mainman and talked all about their new upcoming album.

\r\nFernando talks about the re releases they did recently, the impact of their previous album and the sound we’ll listen in their new album called Night Eternal. Fernando explains his inspirations on the new album, the vocal lines and his attitude towards composing and expressing the dark side of himself through the music.

\r\nNight Eternal is all about earth after everything is lost and how he see her like a woman abused, but also his attitude towards women and how he is enspired. He specifically refers to the song Scorpion Flower which is about the love between women and how he pictures it in a video.

\r\nHe unfolds his philosophy on performing and how he tries to include all styles of singing from brutal to clean. He talks about the upcoming tour, the philosophy of their music and also he gives us in his own unique way his review on Night Eternal which will be released on May 19th!
