FIREWIND - GUS G

Η 20η Ιανουαρίου σηματοδοτεί την επιστροφή των Firewind στην επικαιρότητα με το νέο τους άλμπουμ Immortals. Με την ευκαιρία της κυκλοφορίας του άλμπουμ είχαμε τη δυνατότητα να μιλήσουμε με τον Gus G, ιθύνοντα νου του συγκροτήματος. 

Ο Gus μας λέει γιατί καθυστέρησαν να βγάλουν άλμπουμ οι Firewind, για το concept του άλμπουμ, πως εμπνέεται, τον νέο τους τραγουδιστή που όπως χαρακτηριστικά λέει τραγουδάει σαν να εξαρτάται η ζωή του από αυτό, για το πως το συγκρότημα ουσιαστικά είναι μια παρέα φίλων και αυτό είναι ένας από τους λόγους που το συγκρότημα διατηρείται, το αγαπημένο του τραγούδι, το στυλ των Firewind, για την επερχόμενη περιοδεία τους, τι είναι Heavy metal για αυτόν και μας δίνει την δική του ευχή για το 2017!

January 20th marks the release date of the brand new album from the heavy metal sensation Firewind. Given the chance we talked with band mainman and guitar hero Gus G. Even though we’re Greek we chose to speak in English so that we can make it listener friendly around the world.

Gus talks about Immortals, the first Firewind concept album, his creative process, the enhancement of his musical expression by his solo albums and also being Ozzy’s guitarist. He gives us detail about the new singer of the band, the concept of the album about Greek history and the movie 300, a few hints about his upcoming European tour, at least the first leg of it and what music and heavy metal means to him…
