Impellitteri - Wicked Maiden

Chris Impelliteri has returned with a brand new release, after 4 years of silence (Between these years thas been released also the “Live! Fast! Loud!” best of) The title of the album is “Wicked Maiden” and for once more we meet mr Rob Rock behind the microphone  stand of Imperlliteri. So the band uses again a successful recipe that has been used again in the past several times, provides us with a great mix of heavy metal / shredding album, something that works great since 1987.
\r\nThe vocal abilities of Rob Rock I strongly believe that is already well – known even for those that have not such a great contact with the heavy metal scene, while Chris’ guitar abilities are not so well-known, or he just deserves some more publicity. But the abilities of Rob and Chris work once again great together for an album that won’t pass unnoticed from the metal community. There are many very good compositions with many virtuoso licks, many memorable melodic lines, and many background keyboards and of course the trademark voice of Rob.
\r\n“Wicked Maiden” for sure isn’t the best release of the band, but it’s for sure a very good album that for sure will appeal many fans of the scene. Check it out.
