Ego Integrity - S/T

\r\nWish, love, dream, hope, fantasy. When these words become notes evolving into music, the pictures and the sounds lead to an almost dreaming state which is overflowed with lyricism and emotions. I think that this description doesn’t fully cover this creation because it’s very difficult to put words to some musical trips.
\r\nAfter Wastefall split up, a band that co-headlined in the “blooming” of the progressive metal scene in Greece some years ago by attempting along with only a few other ones something different concerning the music tension in Greece back then, Domenik’s creativity doesn’t leave him in peace and this album proves his endless inspiration. Taking full control of all songs he has developed 11 compositions in which he shows how talentive he is both as a musician and a composer. In a very special way he manages to connect elements from symphonic rock, progressive metal and atmospheric metal as well, without wasting his time in exaggerations or overcomplicated compositions. This results in creating a very pleasant feeling while listening to the songs and maintaing one’s interest during the entire album. Domenik’s performance is entwined in stunning performance and passion, which give to every song its own character. So while singing melodic tunes carries you away in magical soundscapes he suddenly breaks out to disturb the tranquility he had created before.  
\r\nThe album will be available for free downloading for a while (you can find info about it at http://www.myspace.com/domenikpap). It ‘s Domenik’s first solo effort and in my opinion it worth spending some of your time to check it out because I’m sure that each of us can find here a part of themselves. The journey goes on… the way it begun.\r\n
