Agenda Of Swine - Waves Of Human Suffering
\r\nWhat I have got to say is that Relapse releases wonderful records! And Agenda Of Swine is one of the best examples. Having concrete sound and mostly hardcore values, these dudes rip out our ears with the extremely shredding Waves Of Human Suffering. The combination of hardcore, death metal, grind and a little punk is something more than a usual hybrid, the way it comes out in this album. The guitars are sharp and could make any wannabe grinder jealous, while I was impressed by the sound of the drums, which are perfectly balanced and also the recognizable and really personal vocals of Pete Ponitkoff (of Benumb fame for those in know). The album aesthetic is much more hardcore than metal, as the songs are really fast and in-your-face and it is sure that these guys grew up with that kind of music and “ancient” punk. The lyrics, with a quick look, seem to follow the traces of the album title, something that makes us wonder about the future, to be honest. In the 35 minutes of the album, i imagine many people breaking things while moshing on their own and pressing the repeat button again, something I personally did. I am ending this review with a quote from the promo….. The best Grinding Metal Has always been punk as fuck!\r\n
