(Randy Piper's) ANIMAL - Virus

\r\nIf Randy Piper sounds familiar to some of you, then go check the first two WASP albums "WASP" and "The Last Command". Since then Andy joined Alice Cooper and after that he formed his own band called Animal. This is his third try and let’s see what 2008 keeps for him. If you think you are going to listen to an oldman playing old stuff then you are wrong and this album will be a pleasant surprise for you. In fact, this album is quite multidimensional. Despite the fact that It compines many different styles and moods, the overall outcome sounds complete. The album starts with two songs that could had easily been in any Accept or Judas Priest album. "Don’t Wanna Die" could had been in a Bon Jovi album. And if you thing that’s all  wait a bit. The songs that follow, are songs that Conception or Evergrey could easily include in one of their future albums. Catchy riffs that stick into your mind, nice vocals going up and down easily and a heavy production by Chris Laney make a very nice up to date album that will satisfy all metal fans! Furthermore, to seal his connection with modern rock and metal, Randy Piper is experimenting on a cover of the well known and popular song "Zombie" by The Cranberies and he is doing a great job. My only ojection has to do with the unacceptable artwork that really take some credit away from the overall outcome.\r\n
