\r\nI must admit that I hadn’t listened to any of Anima’s former material. They reminded me a lot of The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For A Cowboy and other new death-grindcore bands. ”The Daily Grind” consists of 9 powerful tracks of metallic Deathcore and samples of Scandinavian Black Metal .It sounds as a great combination, but the sound is so triggered that seems to be a little bit “plastic”. Certainly the guys have skills, and as they are newcomers to the scene ( formed in 2005) we should wait more from them…or should I say much more? Apart from these, they have got a great rhythm section, nice double bass attacks and fast, raw guitar playing. Of course, the extreme crunching vocals are really good, but they could be worked out a little bit more. A great record to start your day with.\r\n
