Animus Mortis - Atrabilis (Residues From Verb & Flesh)
\r\nBlack Metal from Chile and more concretely from Animus Mortis, a band which does not have very much to show. In the past the group has released a Demo and last February was the month for the release of their debut album, called Atrabilis (Residues From Verb and Flesh). Here the things are too simple and evident. The group shows its love in the Norwegian scene through 8 compositions that however are classic and usual. Anything that we listen from typical Black Metal groups is here and there is nothing that will make the difference. The speeds are gone up, the frozen melodies give and take, vocals - that should supposed to be little better- are everywhere and try to make the band be heard more true, while the production oscillates in mediocre levels with bent to be good. After a listening however it does not remain to you absolutely nothing, which results for another time in resorting to the beloved old Norwegian bands. I believe that in the future Animus Mortis will present some improvement even if such bands in general, do not have something unique to demonstrate apart from hate and mediocre compositions. \r\n
