Maeder - No grass is greener than your own
\r\n“No grass is greener than yours” is a cd-single with 3 tracks from the album “Maeder”. The Australia-based band is influenced by AC/DC so much, that one can easily recognize similar parts (I use this word in order to avoid saying “almost the same”), like for instance in the beginning of the song “Never Last”. Musically, they play Hard Rock, though, in a more glam/pop version, which I have to admit it’s not that impressive. Being influenced by other musicians is a good thing as long as it helps a band to evolve and take a step beyond. Even though they have done a good job, I think they should reconsider on one hand which part of the audience they’d like to attract with their music while, on the other hand, they should identify/clarify their musical direction. I insist in this matter, as I think this band is pretty remarkable after all.\r\n
