\r\nThe way from Opeth to Anathema, with several stops at crossroads that lead to My Dying Bride, Katatonia and HIM, is very long and somehow hard to walk on it, however the band ETERNAL can easily decrease the distance and make this walk a very interesting experience, even though there’s a gloomy sense that surrounds it. In a very atmospheric mood, their music contains elements mainly from the doom and gothic metal/dark scene, with a lot of melodies as well as progressive bridges that give a particular charm to the songs. The voice of the band, Mark Kelson, even though it reminds a lot of James LaBrie, sounds more atmospheric and more passionate at the same time. A warm, beautiful and clean voice while the music as it is mentioned in the beginning covers a wide spectrum of musical styles and influences, a fact that sets the repeated hearing of this album as necessary in order to discover its secret beauties. Speaking of atmosphere, a melancholic one actually, the keys could not be absent. They have a supreme place in the compositions, and, to be precise, they play the leading role almost in all of them.\r\n
