ABYSMAL GREIF - The Samhain Feast

ABYSMAL GREIF - The Samhain Feast

The Occult Doom Italian outfit Abysmal Grief, a couple of weeks ago released the “teaser” of their new LP, the 7” single “Samhain Feast” that features two new tracks, the same titled and the track “Grimorium Verum” that has been released for the first time, ten years ago, on the band’s “Mors te Audit” demo tape, but since only 13 copies made, the song must be considered as a new one. Both of the tracks move into Abysmal Grief classic –already- sound, classic occult doom metal with dark gothic atmosphere and influences from bands such as the early Death SS, Paul Chain and XIII Stoleti. The 7” has been released on two editions, on black vinyl and black / brown vinyl, housed in a great thick gatefold cover, through Horror Records the label that has also released the split 7” single of Abysmal Grief with the black metal outfit Denial Of God, around the same time as the above single and features a completely different version of Abysmal Grief‘s track “Brides Of The Goat” originally released on the band first official demo tape
\r\nPersonally I consider these two singles as must buy releases for the fans of the band, as for the others, I would suggest to wait until the 2nd of November, the day that Horror Records announced as the official date of release of “Misfortune”, the second full length by these Italians
