ADEMA - Kill the Headlights
\r\n“Kill the Headlights” came in our hands with a big delay, in fact the album was released in 2007, but I think that, though a bit belated, a presentation of this work is necessary. It is the fourth album of Adema with Bobby Reeves on vocals and Ed Faris as the second guitarist, members of LEVEL both of them. The band reminds a lot of KORN, a fact that derives also from the kinship of the previous singer of the group with Jonathon Davis which was a main reason to relate those bands so far. For the most part the songs are based on this style indeed, with catchy melodies, loud guitars, catchy and stimulating vocals, some screams for the most aggressive spots, and Heavy/groovy rhythmical parts, always in refferance to the above description. So, if you search for referances and elements from classical and more traditional forms, I highly doubt that this album will fit the bill. It is a good proposal which is based clearly on a modern alternative musical perspective, that I consider as one of the really good releases and which, regarding the band in particular, shows a very good and creative progress for them.\r\n
