ANTHRAX - The Devil You Know (OFFICIAL TRACK)

Anthrax - Worship Music

\r\nMOSH IT UP\r\n

\r\n

\r\nVeteran moshers of Thrash Metal , -Anthrax-, are finally back with a fresh new album. Eight years after their last full length album the band is here with their 10th official release. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe title of the album is –Worship Music- and this time -Anthrax- ,with Joey Belladona on vocals, are doing an impressive comeback. Amazing rhythm guitars from Scott Ian as always, nice leads from Rob Caggiano, great bass from Frank Bello and Charlie Benante once again giving drumming lessons. Joey’s singing is great. You can hear him singing nice melodic lines and mixing oldschool Heavy Metal with modern feeling. The production is great and it’s a work done by Anthrax, Rob Caggiano and Jay Ruston and recorded over a four-year period at studios in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. The cover artwork is another great job of mr.Alex Ross.\r\n

\r\n-Worship Music- is probably the most adventurous album in the life of –Anthrax-. After the –We’ve come for you All- album the band went on tour and one year after –Anthrax- decide to make an album (The greater of two Evils) where the band did remakes on old songs with John Bush singing after leting the fans vote  through their website which old song to record. After this release  Frank Bello announced that he was leaving the band to join –Helmet -. Then suddenly the band announced a reunion of the band with the old classic line-up. After lots of concerts around the world the band returned to the States where they spread the news that they are working on a new album and that they found a new singer for –Anthrax-. The album was first set to be recorded with Dan Nelson on vocals but after some months the band announced that –Dan Nelson- was not more with Anthrax. The band gave some shows with John Bush and everyone thought that John Bushwill finally return to record the album but after a while –Anthrax- announced that Joey Belladona is back and ready for the Big Four tour and that the album will finally be recorded with Joey on vocals. Then Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano started a new band called –The Damned Things- with members of –Fall Out Boy – and –Every Time I die- and all the fans of –Anthrax were really confused and curious to see what will happen with the new –Anthrax- album. And then the band released a single(Fight ’em till you can’t) that was also free for download and it was the first official recordings with Joey back on vocals. Another single(The Devil you Know) was released then and the band announced the final release date for –Worship Music-. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nFinally, after all these years and all these trouble, the long awaited album is here! –Anthrax- sound more mature than ever and the album has amazing sound. Everyone was expecting an oldschool album but –Anthrax- this time made a mix of all the elements that they represent the past two decades. Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Hardcore/Punk all mixed with the -Anthrax- way. Theres also a great cover on a song of the Swedish Hardcore/Punk band of the 90’s called -Refused -. You will be impressed with Joey singing with more mature and modern way and how the whole album has so crystal clear sound. This album will not satisfy the fans that were expecting a return to the old Thrash-era. It’s the old –Anthrax- meets the modern side of the band and we should all face it. It’s the -Anthrax- of 2011. More mature, more experienced, wiser and still out there, moshing and spreading the disease!\r\n
