Bibleblack - The Black Swan Epilogue

After 15 years Mike Wead  (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Abstrakt Algebra, Memento Mori, Witch , Candlemass, Maninnya Blade, Hexenhaus, Kryptillusion) and Simon Johansson (Memory Garden, Abstrakt Algebra, Fifth Reason, Steel Attack) joining again forces and talent and form a new band under the name Bibleblack, Although the last time these two Swedes joined their talents produced the masterpiece of power / doom metal (Abstrakt Algebra), now after all these years they decided to produce a mix of thrash / melodic / progressive / Doom / Death metal (?) with the quality and their music talent that became known for.
\r\nThe album “The Black Swan Epilogue” is for sure a difficult album to listen to since the maestro Mike Wead manages to play during these 8 tracks Swedish death metal, black metal, thrash metal, power / Doom (ala Memento Mori) without forgetting his psychedelic passages. If someone is fan of Mr Wead for sure knows what I am writing about. At this point I believe that it would be nice to mention the rest of the line up, so on brutal vocals and bass guitar we got the two members of Natas (Swedish Black / Thrash band) and the drummer of also Swedish band, The Bereaved, but there are also some guest appearances on clean vocals by Ronny Hemlin (Tad Morose) and Kristian Andren (Memento Mori / Tad Morose)
\r\nWell on the epilogue of this review I ll try my best to be as objective as I can be , since these musicians are some of my favorites all these years…So here we have an album that features a Swedish All star line up, very inspired compositions, great melodic lines, awesome Mike Wead lead playing and an eerie atmosphere… well, nothing more to write…
