Blind Guardian - Another Stranger Me
\r\nIt has become a usual habit for Blind Guardian to release singles or EPs with each new album. This time it’s "Another Stranger Me", a five-track effort with the title track, a brand new song by the title, ’All The Kings Horse’, an unexpected cover version on The Mamas And the Papas’ ’Dream A Little Dream Of Me’ and two demo-versions of the songs ’Lionheart’ and ’The Edge’. Besides "Another Stranger Me" which is another single track from their latest album ’A Twist In The Myth’ after last year’s "Fly" EP, obviously the light is focused on the other four songs. The new one, ’All The Kings Horse’, which is a typical Blind Guardian-ballad based on the deep and emotional quality of Hansi Kürsch’s vocals. Very beautiful and quite interesting. The cover song is equally beautifully arranged and its hard rock gradation at least for me makes it far more absorbing than the original. As far as the last two songs are rather redundant and could only serve for collectiveness’ reasons. Surely not a must have purchase but not a worthless one either. \r\n
