\r\nU.S. Deathsters - Cattle Decapitation- from San Diego are here with their\r\nfourth full length album.The album is called - The Harvest Floor - and its the\r\nperfect gift for their fans, because they still play this fast brutal grindcore\r\nwith their own technical death style, with a lot of ideas in brutal vocals and\r\na lot of their classical anti-human and against-animal-cruelty lyrics. But this\r\ntime the level got higher. \r\n

\r\nThe album is full of great\r\nriffs, technical death metal breaks, atmospheric parts and demonic sounds mixed with\r\nmelodies in their -Cattle Decapitation- way. Travis Ryan is giving his best\r\nperformance by growling, squealing and screaming his soul off! There are many\r\nideas and styles that he is mixing to his vocal attacks and you can hear brutal\r\ndeath vocals mixed with grindcore throat noises and black metal style\r\nscreams with a dose of pig squeals. The bass is so thick and strong that is\r\nhammering your chest and their new drummer - David Mc Graw - is adding to\r\nthe band a lot of energy with his furious blast beats and a lot of atmosphere\r\nwith his drumming. \r\n

\r\nThe production is done by\r\nBilly Anderson(Brutal Truth , Sick Of It All) who gave a lot of  his\r\nexperience to this album and did a perfect job.The cover , done by Wes\r\nBenscoter , is absolutely great showing humans treated like animals, gathered\r\nand driven to decapitation. The band is known for their Vegan way of life and\r\ntheir stance against animal cruelty and their sending their messages in a full mode.\r\nBy their name, cover, songs, lyrics and their personal life. \r\n

\r\nI tottaly agree with their\r\nstance and their ideas. I totally agree also with their way of grinding and\r\nplaying death metal with their personal attitude. Although there are people\r\nthat say that Cattle Decapitation don’t play grindcore, i see a lot of parts\r\nand many influence from the grindcore scene. From the blast beats and the\r\nhardcore social lyrics to the extreme vocals and the shocking covers. Cattle\r\nDecapitation did a very good job.From the music to the lyrics and from the\r\ncover to the layout. The new album has also guest appearances such as\r\ncellist Jackie Perez-Gratz from Grayceon and vocalist Jarboe from Swans and\r\nthis makes things even more interesting.-The Harvest Floor - is a great album\r\nfor any kind of death metal fans. Its made by extreme musicians with many\r\nworries about the problems that the human kind creates. It is definitely\r\none of my favourite albums in my new-releases list and I totally recommend it\r\nfor all of you deathsters. \r\n
