Deadweight - Origins Of Darkness

\r\nI have the impression that Feto Records has come out in the search of groups that deals with Grind or Brutal Death Metal sound and until now it goes perfectly. Deadweight come from Great Britain and Origins Of Darkness is their debut album in which they present to us all the inspiration and their talent and they create an album that cannot leave no fan of the genre incurious. With influences that are moving from Between The Buried And Me to Cryptopsy and with a big tendency to the technical part, Origins Of Darkness is an album that on one hand cannot change something in the extreme sound, but on the other hand it can surely help the genre to become more qualitative. The compositions that we listen here give us the impression that they are separated in many and different parts that some of them could be characterized technically, other could be characterized as formal Grind, other melodic, while there are not absent also some Metalcore parts that however come in second fate and are obvious mainly in the way of playing in certain parts. The sound in the tracks is sharp, something that makes the result more brutal, while there is no space for well-played melodies and catchy points. The pieces are characterized by the speed and evil drumming, while the technique makes the result more interesting. Vocals are as if they come out through sewer and I believe that for style of the band, they are simply exceptional. The only bad thing is some chaotic passages in which the group tries to use all their abilities and the result is not very well in the end. Fortunately these parts are not many and in combination with all the rest material, they are negligible. Finally, I would want to report that the production is an other strong point for the band, as everything is well organized in every detail and improves more the quality of the album. Origins Of Hate is ideal for brutal people that respect themselves. \r\n
