Die Apokalyptischen Reiter - Riders On The Storm

\r\nFor many they are unacceptable. For others they are a fury\r\n(Reitermaniacs). For many they are easy heard and consequently pleasant\r\nwhile for others complicated and tedious. According to many they play\r\nDeath Metal and according to others they play simply a chaotic music\r\nwith Heavy elements. How is it possible for a band to mix all the above\r\nand to tangle the listener to such a point that either he will stick to\r\nit or he will hate it? The answer is simple. Die Apokalyptischen Reiter\r\nplay what they like with the way that they like and those who follow\r\nthem can gain many things while those who do not follow, lose. "Riders\r\nBeing The Storm" is the new work of the Germans and sure it is a very\r\nappreciable album, beyond usual, that once more time will divide the\r\nfans and each one of them will have his own opinion over this. The\r\nsongs we meet here remind "Have A Nice Trip" as well as "Samurai" while\r\nthere are certain points that are referring to the band’s older works.\r\nThe sound and the production in any case are closer to "Have A Nice\r\nTrip". For one more time, what is dominant here are the terrific\r\nalternations of rhythms and situations, something that makes DAR\r\nseparate and unique. Rhythmical guitars, keys, lead, technically solos,\r\nclean and brutal vocals, violins, accordion are some from the elements\r\nthat compose the album and each track separately. The alternations of\r\ndisposals are once again here which means that there are tracks capable\r\nof depressing the listener and others (and these are the majority) that\r\ncan rise everyone and make him wanna smash everything during the\r\nhearing of the disk. The energy that DAR possesses is a rare thing\r\ntoday and this is another positive element for the group. The verses\r\nare exclusive in German with minimal exceptions and as always the\r\nproduction is something more than irreproachable since everything are\r\npolished, carefully laid and structured with appetite and even though\r\nthere are many instruments combined together, they are all heard with\r\norder and without the result being chaotic and anarchic. DAR is a group\r\nthat overflows by liveliness and energy and this is obvious so much in\r\ntheir albums as well in their live appearances. "Riders Being The\r\nStorm" is addressed to anyone with an open hearing but also to anyone\r\nwho dares and experiment with new situations. All those who have dealt\r\nwith the band in past should acquire "Riders Being The Storm" and sure\r\nthey will know what they will meet. So sit comfortably, press play, and\r\nlet yourselves in the exceptional melodies of those Germans and… Have a\r\nNice Trip!\r\n
