Dornenreich - In Luft Geritzt

The Austrian based outfit, Dornenreich is a fact that during the years of its existence, they had change musical forms from melodic black metal to more, acoustic sounds. Today with their sixth full length album, “In Luft Geritzt” the band went fully acoustic.
\r\nThe “In Luft Geritzt” album, has a strong appearance of violin and acoustic guitars, a fact that will probably disappoint the older fans of the group, but for sure will appeal new and especially fans of Empyrium and why not, Death In June. Instead of the classic vocal lines, Dornenreich presenting us something close to whispering vocals and spoken words.
\r\nI have to admit that although the band went fully acoustic, the blend of acoustic guitars, violin and the whispering vocals sound too solid, maybe a little bit boring, but solid.
