ECLIPSE - Bleed & Scream

Fourth release for the Swedish band of ECLIPSE entitled Bleed and Scream, through Frontiers records. A release which is exactly what the year needed releases wise as so far it has been loose or should I say boring. Considering summer time is a dry period due to everyone’s holiday season this particular release will probably be the trigger to set the new season on fire…

\r\nEven though the band has had only four releases they don’t seem to be quit as beginners as they have been around since 2001. Their sound had always had the tendency to tangle between melodic power metal and hard rock with fast synthesis, powerful riff and distinguishable keyboards. Trade mark of the band has always been the incredible vocal lines – especially in this release - of Erik Martenrsson, also known for his guest appearances in various projects.

\r\nImmaculate energy with catchy riffs and generally a well completed piece of work Bleed & Scream might as well leave behind all the previous albums and could be a new beginning for the band. As the well-aimed title track suggests, guitars are going to Bleed and vocals are going to Scream through every track leaving the listener dripping with adrenaline after having listened to it.

\r\nA definite must-buy album for the listeners who enjoy melodic power metal in the style of Pretty Maids mixed with the European aura and hard rock sprinkles of their home mates Treat, Europe κτλ.
