Edenbridge - My Earth Dream
As always, Edenbridge continue the tradition and present another indifferent and uninspired album which can easily be compared to the previous one as there is no difference that would make the result a bit more interesting. So, Earth Dream is the group’s new album and in it we listen to some of the most boring symphonic tracks we’ve ever heard. The female singer tries to sound like Tarja, guitars are totally predictable, simple and indifferent, keyboards are boring with lousy melodies that tire from the first time you listen to them while there are some Heavy parts where there are some good riffs but unfortunately even that doesn’t surpass mediocrity. Another negative fact is that the songs are almost the same and if someone listens to one of them, surely knows what the others will sound like. The area where Edenbridge need the most of improvement, although all these years there hasn’t been any, is in writting nice melodies and then thing will get a little better. Unfortunately though this doesn’t happen in this album so we have another band that copies in a really bad and annoying way ther riffs of other famous bands of this genre and they try to make a name out of it. Personally I hate Edenbridge and I think there are thousands of other remarkable bands to talk about. Maybe their most "earth dream" would be to write a good album...
