Emir Hot - Sevdah Metal

Emir Hot - Sevdah Metal

\r\nAs Wikipedia informs us, Sevdah is a traditional type of folk music with roots in Bosnia, while its full name is Sevdalinka. Its main feature is the slow or moderate tempo and rich harmony, which leaves a melancholic feeling to the listener. Emir Hot is a young musician that comes from Bosnia and having dedicate his life in order to it achieve his musical goals, he joins forces with John West and Mike Terrana and he presents to us a Power Metal/Neoclassical Metal album with Speed guitar riffing. The influences from Malmsteen are obvious, the melodies are there too, and so are the furious riffs, and so the journey to Emir ‘s musical vision begins while his fingers become one with the guitar strings. Personally, the most beloved element is the unique vocals of West. The guy gives amazing interpretations and absolutely ties up with this special combination of traditional sounds and metal music while also Terrana, being the drum animal that he is, could not make his presence less perceptible. The experimentation that Emir and his musicianship attempt is pretty interesting, and I consider that those who are attracted in birtoyso-like stuff and fast speeds, always speaking in musical terms, should check it out. \r\n
