ESOTERIC - The Maniacal Vale

ESOTERIC - The Maniacal Vale

There are not enough words to describe the British masters of Funeral Doom (Death / Doom). The only thing I can say after the hearing of “The Maniacal Vale” is that Esoteric have returned, so progressive, chaotic, misanthropic and twisted as never before. If “Epistemological Despondency” has been considered as their top moment by their fans, during the hearing of “The Maniacal Vale” they may change their minds.
\r\nAt the same time this band can progress with new, fresh elements blended with their old classic elements, making a double album featuring 7 tracks (Yup, the track times still remain the same) that combines their natural progress with the old identity
\r\nThe Band provides us once again with slow, down tempo Doom / Death Metal, with many pretty good melodies that cannot be easily recognisable. The vocal lines are once again straight up from the lower pits of hell while their guitars are extremely heavy, with an intense reverb effect, so the hearing of their melodic lines cant be easily recognisable by someone not familiar to their music.
\r\nIn conclusion, Esoteric has returned and they deserve their throne in the Funeral Doom metal pyramid, doom-gothsters, mellow sensitive posers, move out of their way.
