Before The Fall - From Mutism To Riddance

I wish all metalcore bands could be like this one! Before The Fall come from Austria and specifically Vienna. From Mutism To Riddance is their latest effort. This band is living proof that you don’t have to come from a specific country in order to make good music. By this I mean that even though Austria isn’t the country you would expect to have an offspring that would chance your perspective on metal there are few bands which are more than worth our attention. First of all the sound is astonishingly good, which is clearly because the album is the work of the great Tue Madsen who did the mastering. All tracks are dipped into heavy riffs which are sometimes rhythm and sometimes more rough. Either way the beauty is irresistible. What makes Before The Fall even more noticeable is the fact they are trying to create their own unique sound and they succeed to do so to some extent. It’s not a groundbreaking style but what the band plays they play it with their heart and they have kept their influences out of it. Jolly melodic parts which are common in this style have no place in this band. We should also make sure we mention there are some Thrash parts in the album with a very technical play. From Mutism To Riddance is an amazing album. If Before The Fall keep up the good work soon they will be the new driving force in the Metalcore scene.
