\r\nDuring the last years is a common phenomenon for some groups to release albums with great flawless production, with many channels for the vocal lines, keyboards, effects, very well produced drums, if they are not samplers, etc. But they forgot something very important, the music. So then, this is the way that these Italians under the name Figure of Six, do in their newest, second album “Aion”
\r\nHaving already put the Promo cd in the stereo, during the first minute, I got the feeling that someone must be jocking, putting in the cupboard sleeve of the promo a recent In Flames cd. Having already heard all of the nine tracks of the album, the only feeling I got from the listening is that I really wasted my time on this.
\r\nOf course the fact that I didn’t like this album doest mean that no one will like it too. I just found this album really boring with nothing to provide me, at least nothing different from all these releases from bands that once played melodic death metal and now have changed their music to metalcore.
\r\nAs for the album, as I previously said, has some great production, a coupe of good riffs (where can be heard) many keyboards and a vocalist that really worships Anders Friden, but in his recent efforts.
