Flowing Tears - Thy Kingdom Gone
I got introduced to “Flowing Tears” music back in 1998 when I listened to their second release “Joy Parade” (as Withered Flowers & Flowing Tears). Since then many things have changed for the band despite their name. They have released six studio albums and had many line up changes
\r\nIn the present year, 2008 the bad has returned with a new album, “Thy Kingdom Gone” and with pleasure I realize that their music hasn’t changed dramatically. The album sounds close to the “atmospheric” or if you like, “gothic Metal” sound of these days, with female vocals that stand very good in the whole sound of the band.
\r\nFlowing Tears with “Thy Kingdom Gone” provide us a very good result of their music with many “gothic” elements, many melodic lines and melodies that may not stick in your mind but make the hearing of the album really a enjoying thing to do.
\r\nFrom the production point, everything seems to work flawless and at this time is worth to quote that on the same titled track vocals made by Vorph of Samael. The very good artwork is a creation of Seth.
\r\nIn Conclusion, having in mind the very good quality of Flowing Tears music along with the “dark” weather of winter these days, the purchasing of the album is a very good move.
