\r\n“La Rosa Del ‘ Deserto” is the second release from this Italian guitar wizard, Giuseppe Silvestri and has been released via the greek label Secret Port Records. Thing are simple in this case. I ve been listening to many instrumental guitar virtuoso albums over the years, and only a few of them, really deserved to be instrumental, and this one deserves to be one for sure.
\r\nMany and awesome melodic lines, many tempo changes, very virtuoso playing, without a trace of exaggeration and attempts impress the audience. Mr Silvestri seems to be a very good friend of the six strings Goddess, and treats her in the best possible way. In specific parts with a dreamier attitude, in other parts with passion, or even with more aggressive feelings, and in parts with a more classical education. It’s a common knowledge after all that the Italians admire every sort of classical art, from painting to music
\r\nJudging by the sound of the drums, there must be some drum machine, something that don not sound bothering, but I‘d like to hear these tracks with drums. The production moves in really good level having the guitar as the main instrument, in specific parts there is the presence of keyboards also.
\r\nTo sum up, if any of you would like to listen to a really very melodic and great album, that will help you to calm your nerves with many dreamy melodies and will provide you with 53 minutes of dreamy music, just go for “La Rosa Del Deserto”. Of course the album is recommended also for guitar players, to have a really nice sample of great guitar playing, with melodies, passion and aggression, without exaggerations.
