GOAD - In The House Of Dark Shinning Dreams
\r\nGOAD is a band from italy with 20 years of history and many releases between these years. It’s a band that insists on playing the classic 70’s prog music, influenced by the masters of this genre, Van Der Graff Generator, King Crimson and Genesis (Gabriel – era). Their new release entitled “In the House of the Dark Shining Dreams” wich is another dark album by GOAD, contains some re arranged parts from their album “Dark Virgin” plus two Coversongs (Van Der Graaf Generator’s “Killer” and King Crimson’s “21 Century Schizoid Man.) This Release is full of the 70’s alike keys, violins, flutes, very technical Bass playing, very intense guitar solos and the Voice of Maurilio Rossi that reminds a hybrid of Hammill’s and Gabriel;s Voice. In a total of about 80 minutes, we can hear from bluesy tracks to King Crimson – alike way of playing- prog rock.
\r\nIn general this album is a release that will not leave tha audience of prog rock uninterested in. Of course recommended for those who have “trained” their ears to this kind of music.
