Ill Nino - Enigma

Ill Nino - Enigma

\r\nAfter many postponements and delays, latinoamerican Ill Nino’s new album is finally out. Enigma is the band’s fourth full-lenghed release and I think this album will consolidate Ill Nino’s presence on Nu Metal grounds. The reason is simple. All the good elements that the band showed scattered through its albums, are brought together in this one and this time inspiration makes the result even more interesting. Latin rythms blended with rythm addictive guitars and spanish lyrics (in the greatest part of the album) are the characteristics that capture listener’s attention almost instantly. Thanks to their latin mentality, Ill Nino stand out in the saturated Nu Metal genre and make us let go ourselves in their beautiful melodies and quick outbursts (ideal for live shows) that offer to their audience unselfishly. In the album we realize that there’s more space for the vocals to be pushed forward while their diversity is what makes them unique. The band’s strongest card is making catchy melodies and great choruses which, melodical or not, can both sound interesting. Production is just perfect and the thing I really liked was that even the smallest detail can be clearly heard. On the whole, Ill Nino are back with their best record so far, a record that has everything from latin rythm and typical nu metal parts to spanish experimentations emerging from the depths of latinamerican culture. It was worth waiting...
