Isole - Silent Ruins

These Swedish for sure must be workaholics  … just after the release of the first album of Ereb Altor, (members of Isole), now they release the fourth album with Isole.
\r\nThe album entitled “Silent Ruins” and will be released, as the previous one, from the Austrian label, Napalm Records. The fans of Isole, are sure about what are about to hear in this particular release, Epic Doom Metal, but in this album Isole features some progressive elements (“From The Dark”), but this direction was obvious, even from the previous release. I need to make clear that despite the progressive parts the band does NOT lack of atmosphere, lyricism and slow tempo riffing, the trade mark of their previous sound. Also for the friends of the band there is a surprise since the second track of the album is entitled “Forlorn”, some may don’t know that, but this was the first name of Isole, from 1991 to 2001!!!
\r\nWell, maybe my personal opinion is not 100% fair, because I am a big fan of the band, but this album will definitely be in the top albums for the year 2009. This is it. Doom!
