John 5 - Requiem

John 5 - Requiem

\r\nFourth completed solo release for the guitarist of Rob Zombie, John Lowery (here it is presented to us as John 5) and the new album that is called Requiem released on behalf of Mascot Records. Those who had already followed the particular gentleman from his first album, will know what they will listen about Those who however have no idea for the existence of John, you must not be cheated by the misleading artwork. We do not have to do with an Industrial freak! In the album we find 10 Instrumental tracks, which as always they are extremely technical and ideal for the professors but also the students of the guitar. This time, John tried to use some of the things that he had presented to us in the first albums, and when I say things I mean in the way of guitar playing. Partly he has accomplished it, however it is almost impossible to hide the modern mentality that his music has. In order not to fluffing and because it is an absolutely guitar work that goes to limited number of fans, we have to say that Requiem is an album through which someone can take many solos, but also a lot of progressive ideas, seat comfortably in his couch and enjoy the holocaust from the sound of guitar which does not stop. Personally I cannot say that I was impressed a lot with this work, as I am not fan of such type of music, however I recognize how well is a track being played and what it can offer to the listener. Everything that exists in the album is structured properly and with big attention, from the rhythmic guitar to the drums, while there are not few the times where all these create some beautiful melodies for hears. Basically, solos is what surpasses. If you are experimenting with the guitar and want to find something really technician and exclusively guitarist, the only you have to do is to check Requiem. Finally, everyone makes his choice... \r\n
