Jorn - Lonely Are The Brave

\r\nJorn belongs to this kind of people, whose creativity doesn’t allow them to rest almost never. We hear of his name very often during the last years, as he has worked with several bands, either as a part of the permanent line-up or as a guest in various projects. Charismatic, with such a great voice and very expressive, no doubt he is one of the most important frontmen of our times.
\r\n“Lonely Are The Brave” is the title of his new album, for which my feelings are a bit mixed, and this is due to the fact that, in my opinion, the songs are not “enough” compositions-wise. They probably need something more, especially for those who may listen to his work for the first time and look for special elements/features compared to so many other new albums. Metal, pure and “clean” without non-sense experimentations, with nice music themes, good production, and the unique performance of Jorn almost “overshadowing” everything else. Mysterious and dark, he binds perfectly these elements with the rock attitude and the “eroticism” of his voice. For me, albums coming from such figures are not only recommended to the fans of one musical genre in particular, because actually there’s no specific genre to set up limits for them. It’s merely METAL. \r\n
