Karmic Link - No Light But Rather Light Visible

\r\nThis is the debut album of Karmic Link, a band which was created by Stathis Kassios (Nightfall, System Shock) and the charismatic voice of Mina G (Kinetic, The Rain I Bleed) gave “flesh and bones” to it around the year 2006. Recordings followed up in the well-known Tico Tico Studios in Finland and with Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND), who is behind all the rhythm and lead guitars, and Jani Liimatainen (SONATA ARCTICA) in one out of the two instrumental tracks of the album, as guest musicians, we have “No light but rather darkness visible”.
\r\nI think that this album is the best way for a fresh band to start with, full of ideas, emotion and inspiration in its compositions. A "rich" musical profile with various elements that features electro/ industrial spots, prog and powerfull passages, melo-pop parts, nice themes in the keys and very groovy rhythms. When all of the above tie up so well and give such a good result, what more could someone ask? Harmonisation of various ideas structured through a particularly elegant prism and here ιs what we got. A beautiful musical journey, carefully finished even in the details that hardly would not draw one’s attention. What definitely drew my attention was that each song is very special and while you expect to hear something similar to the previous ones musically wise, things turn out different. \r\n
