Leave's Eyes - Njord

After four years Leave’s Eyes return with a new studio full length album, although through these period of time the outfit has released two Eps, one Live album, one Single and one DVD… they probably sell…
\r\nSo, Leave’s Eyes, or better Atrocity with Liv Kristine on vocals made it again. They created a multidimensional album that fits in everything such as folkish / pop sounds similar to “all about eve” with some metal guitars and a dark / goth aesthetic, lust like the previous albums.
\r\nTo be honest I couldn’t expect anything different than this, if I did I would easily call my self a fool. Some good melodies can be heard from times to times on this album, that the great voice (widely acceptable) of Liv emphasizing very beautiful (when mr Krull doesn’t participate on vocals). Not such as a plesant surprise is the cover to all time classic traditional English song “Scarborough Fair” that I believe that has been slaughtered.
\r\nIn general I think that “Njord” is a typical , good album for a band like Leave’s Eyes that will for sure appeal the fans of the band, as for the others, they may find it mediocre and boring…
