Mastiphal - Parvzya

Mastiphal - Parvzya

\r\nOne of the strangest names for a band(soundwise, I have no idea what the name means!), Mastiphal kept me busy the past few days. For some reason I wanted to bury this into the deepest abyss prior to listening to it but the polish guys served me my sorry ass back at me. Black metal, the polish way, is not something you’ve been brainwashed about me the metal media. But these guys are 100% worth the trouble and a larger audience is bound to follow them eventually. But second album in 20 years time?
\r\n
\r\n Apparently they had their ups and downs until "Parvzya" was finally out but it was worth every waiting minute. After a soul-ravaging intro the first song((Under the Sign of the Morning Star) melts your face in with blastbeats and you instantly pay even more attention. Combining the forse of the most recent Watain and the old, black metal days of Behemoth and without playing blast over blasts to impress the band spits riffs, awesome vocals and utterly: SONGS that can drive your ass insane into the closest pit. Mature compositions, a full perseption of extreme music is under their grasp, Mastiphal deliver a completely mature album.
\r\n
\r\n One of its biggest advantages is the astonishing production(Maq Studio & Hunted House). It sends "Parvzya" to a whole new level, so powerful and heavy, I just loved it. I’m not sure what are the band’s ambitions and dreams from this point on but they have built a solid basis for something strong. A larger audience is bound to meet them, all they need is some good management and a lucky charm. For real, do not let this little diamond escape you.\r\n
