MICHAEL VESCERA - A Sign of Things To Come
\r\nThe name Michael Vescera is well known to many of you. Those of you who are not familiar with it I am sure that you have heard his voice on releases of Malmsteen, Obsession , Loudness as well as on some guest appearances of other artists Projects. This is his first personal album and is a fine example of how melodic metal should be played!
\r\nFrom the first riff of the opening track titled “Between heaven and hell” until the outro “Thrill of it all” Michael’s influences from the bands he participated are becoming obvious, and that’s normal because the musicians playing in this album are his former mates from bands like Malmsteen, Obsession, Loudness, House of Lords. Listening to this album makes you realize that, on the whole, is actually a very good release while the compositions seem to be very well worked, full of catchy melodies and chorouses. What’s really impressive on this album are the guitar parts, killer riffs and amazing solos from a 17 year old kid(!!!) named Joey Concepcion. Vescera’s voice is in high standards as always and he sounds refreshed defying the persistence of time. On the whole το “A Sign Of Things To Come” is an excellent work not only for Vescera’s fans but for everyone who likes melodic heavy metal.\r\n
