Misery Speaks - Catalogue Of Carnage

\r\nLately we’ve come to see many appreciable releases from the melodic Death Metal genre. Personally the most recent I remember it was the new album of Fall Of Serenity and a few days after this, there is another band that reminds me quite enough of this particular group, yet with its own more personal character and accomplishes to gain a special place in our heart. \r\n

\r\nMisery Speaks was created in 2001 in Muenster of Germany. In 2004 they released their debut album with the title "Things Fall Apart" and 2006 was the year for their second album’s release, "Misery Speaks". The upcoming year (and more concretely in January) Misery Speaks by a new label (Drakkar Records) will release their new disk which is titled "Catalogue Of Carnage" and which reveals an uprising and many promising band. Misery Speaks could be enlisted with bands like Neaera, Fall Of Serenity, Heaven Shall Burn etc. They combine melody with extreme but catchy passages, the riffs alternations succeed one another, the sound and the production are particularly high leveled, the vocals are exclusively brutal and personally they reminded me kind of Insomnium. The album contains 10 songs, all equally beautiful without anyone being distinguished. To be honest, the band does nothing original, but plays music that is pleasantly heard and doesn’t lack anything from the basic characteristics that make the particular property separate. Intensity, energy, melody and atmosphere coexist harmoniously creating a result that can gain the listener without any big effort.

\r\nIt seems that 2008 will be the best year for Misery Speaks. Contrary to their name in any case, the band is not by no means "miserable" and has many things to offer. The album will be released in 25 January and you can hear some samples in the band’s MyspacePage. \r\n
