Morningside - The Wind, The Trees and The Shadows of The Past
The music of Morningside is somewhere between Opeth, Cure and Opeth. Their First effort entitled “The Wind, The Trees And The Shadows Of The Past” consists of 3 tracks plus Intro / Outro and has running time about 40 minutes. Their compotisions are extense in length but unfortunatelly in specific parts are boring, but if you are a fan of opeth you would like it. The riffage of the tracks is nothing special, many of the riffs sound the same, with the same slow, down tempo rhythm section while the brutal vocals are close to Opeth’s brutal vocals, clean vocals also exist on the CD. Personally I got bored by the album but the final choice is yours.

\r\nP.S. The first part of the track “Shadows Of The Past” sounds like a bad cover to Cure’s “Lullabye”
