Must Missa - The Target of Hate

Must Missa - The Target of Hate

\r\n   Must Missa is from Estonia and they started out as a pure black metal band but gradually they evolved into a thrash metal act mixing some black metal elements.
\r\n   "The Target of Hate" is their previous release from 2005 and it contains 8 songs with a pure ’80s thrash feeling closely to bands like Destruction, Venom, Sodom, Celtic Frost etc. Of course you will hear nothing new here and how could you when there is only old-school, primitive, straight in your face thrash metal the way it has been played by so many great bands in the past. Some of you may turn your heads away with repulsion because you will consider this only stale bread and you may be right but a greedy thrash lover will possibly come to really like this effort. Of course there is plenty of repetitiveness between the songs but there are also many great moments for a merciless headbanging and for intensive thrash metal multiple orgasms. Personally I really liked this work for its most part maybe because I haven’t undust my thrash metal albums for a very long time (well, ok count out the Slayer albums!). This album just reminded me what a great genre thrash metal is even when it is just regurgitated food.
\r\n   The album lasts only half an hour but either way it is a common trademark for such releases. I repeat that this is their previous effort so if you haven’t already listened to this album or know nothing about this band and you are really digging old-fashioned thrash metal risen from the dusty pits of the ‘80s, listen to them, you most probably find many things to appreciate in their music. \r\n
