The Mystery - Soulcatcher

\r\nThe Mystery… A group from Germany with a new album (I think it’s their fifth) and 15 new tracks in it. Although they exist since 1996 I had never heard any of their previous works, so I cannot say anything about them. But now that I have listened to ‘’Soulcathcer’’ I think I will spend more time to learn things about this band and I advice you to do the same. \r\n

\r\nAfter an one minute melodic intro, we listen to 14 songs of pure 80’s heavy metal with many melodic elements, heavy riffs, amazing bass lines and a great Korry Schadwell who might not be Tarja Turunen but her passion makes the songs sound very dynamic. Whoever likes Doro Pesch I think will find Schadwell’s vocals very interesting. The album becomes better and better while listening to it and closes with a very nice ballad, a little bit different from the ballads we are used to listen. \r\n

\r\nThe Mystery, are unfortunately an underground band and sure it’s not so easy for anyone to find one of their albums. However you can check their myspace page and if you find out that their music has something to say to you, support them. I think they deserve it. \r\n
