Nomad Son - First Light

Nomad Son - First Light

The Maltese doom metal outfit Nomad Son, has been formed under the guidance of the Bass player of the Veterans doomsters Forsaken, Albert Bell with the addition of the members of the Heavy Rock band Frenzy Mono. The quintet started as a jamming project but later on became a proper band and now they release their debut album “First Light, through the Italian Label Metal On Metal.
\r\nThe Sound of Nomad Son is not something so similar to the sound of Forsaken, the band performs a mixture of traditional doom metal in the vain of Black Sabbath, Trouble, Pentagram and Candlemass with a 70’s sound – alike Hammond organ that reminds us of bands like Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Jacula and Atomic Rooster.
\r\nNomad Son Reminds us that the traditional doom metal is not dead yet, and they support this opinion with the best possible way. Mid -  tempo, awesome riffing, with great rhythm section and a 70’s alike atmosphere in the air. The 8 compositions of the album, shows a band of a high level composing abilities and very good palyers.
\r\nTraditional Doom metal, with an unique atmosphere and not for the weak. This release recommended to fans of Candlemass, Trouble and in general, to all fellow – doomsters that admire great riffs, mid tempo rhythm section and to all those who Born Too Late!
