Nordvargr - Re-Awaken

Nordvargr - Re-Awaken

\r\nNordvargr. The man with the 200 albums that has haunted his own self.
\r\nI won’t say much about this particular album which he decided to re-release.Awake was out in
\r\n2002 and was quite successful among the kind.As for the style he plays, let’s just call it sick,
\r\nblack ambient. And as one can obviously see, here you won’t find black metal, scratchy
\r\nguitars, noise or anything of the sort.
\r\nHere there are only sounds of the dirty life and mental state,
\r\nsounds from the very depths of the nightmarish subconscious and absolute blackness.
\r\nSounds and nothing more but sounds promising rotten nights of soundscapes and swamps..
\r\nSometimes spacey, sometimes very modern and sometimes filthy. The only thing that is for
\r\nsure is that it’s black and nightmarish.
\r\nUnfortunately albums like this can’t be easily reviewed because, we’re talking about a
\r\nconsistent monotony that manages to bring out tons of different feelings and so it’s better for
\r\nthe listener to draw his/her own conclusions.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nNordvargr is a musician that has offered a lot, not only to the Swedish Ambient scene, but
\r\nalso worldwide and is re-releasing Awaken as "Re-Awaken" plus a good 20 minutes that were
\r\nnot originally in the 2002 Awaken.
\r\nBelievers come forth.
