Origin - Entity
Origin - Entity
\r\nOrigin reaches their fifth album in almost a decade of shredding and brutalising ears in the most brutal of ways. Things are very simple ladies and gents. These guys ain’t fooling around, they never did and as it seems, they never will. So, the question is how much can they evolve with what they do playing so intense, brutal music?
\r\n
\r\n The most "Origin" trained ear will see the difference at once. Yes, they still play like operating surgeons, at tremendus speed with technique that pulverises brains only this time, these guys look like they’ve found the golden link. And that is the one link that connects the art of complex riffing and skills with essential song writing. Without being all that clear how they do it Origin give you "Entity", an album filled with songs that are catchy in their own way, designing "melodies" and basic structures that are sub-divided into equations and pieces. But the essense is still there at the end making you wander how the hell did they pull this through.

\r\n Don’t be frightened by those first sweaps at the beginging of "Expulsion of Fury". Don’t be afraid that the band has softened also. On the contrary, Origin knows exactly where they’re stepping on and how to balance things. It’s almost frightening how easy they make it look. The album is a natural born killer while it is catchy at the same time in a magical, twisted way. If that ain’t talent I don’t know what is..I’m also
\r\nsure that the fans of the band have already welcome Jason Keyser on vocals. It doesn’t require a lot of thought. Go get it.\r\n
