POWERWOLF - The Blood Of Saints

POWERWOLF - The Blood Of Saints

\r\nYet another Powerwolf album meant to fulfill the need for powerful heavy metal riffs, endeavoring lyrics, turbulence guitars and eerie vocals. You can’t miss with a recipe like this. That’s mainly the reason why Powerwolf have become one of the most promising bands around ever since they surfaced the metal scene back in 2003. With every new release they become better more bounded, more solid and their sound is always exhilarating.

\r\nPowerwolf’s latest is called Blood Of The Saints and the creepy vampire wolves have managed to pull through another great album. An album you listen to, beginning to end, at the top of your player’s volume and you look forward to seeing them perform live. The album was awarded with the rating album of the month in the German edition of Metal Hammer magazine, which is indicative of their evolution and upward course.  Mixing duties were handled at Studie Fredman with Fredrik Nordström. My personal favorites Night Of The Werewolves, Son Of A Wolf, Murder At Midnight, We Drink Your Blood, All We Need Is Blood.

\r\nThe limited edition of "Blood of the saints" will feature the bonus-CD "The sacrilege symphony (and still the orchestra prays)", which contains a 26 minutes orchestral piece based on Powerwolf-songs. It was arrangend by russian Filmscore composer Dominic G. Joutsen, who previously worked for Movies, Computer Games and as well for Portugese metalband Heavenwood.
