RAM - Death

RAM - Death

\r\nThe band’s music vision was clear from the beginning and throughout the thirteen years of their work they still follow it: heavy metal. So simple.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nThis is the third album for RAM released via Metal Blade for the first time; as years go by the band becomes more and more popular. Classic heavy metal sound, that takes you back in time on one hand, without sounding passé at all on the other hand. Afterall, any kind of experimentation has no place in their music, which is clearly in an absolutely heavy metal mood. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nOscar Carlquist is once more very expressive and his singing is intense and theatrical and basically I think that the vocals really stand out. Personally, Oscar ‘s singing was the main element that appealed to me when I was introduced to the band a few years ago; it’s not that this Judas Priest- Accept- Iron Maiden mixture wasn’t a strong motif itself, it’s just that in a few words this voice will totally stick in your mind once you hear it.\r\n
